• I am a self taught artist. My interest in art dates back to childhood when I would watch my father work with wood to create various things. He once cut small pieces of wood in different shapes to cover an entire wall in our house! I inherited his love of wood and now work to create 3 dimensional abstracts in wood with bits of metal thrown in. I am always working on new and different techniques for my work.

• My experience and exposure to the art world has taken place mainly since I moved to Florida in 1997. I have shown my work in Galleries- SoHo Gallery, Central Ave St Petersburg, Snooty Judy’s on Main St in Dunedin, The Gallery on Main St in Sarasota, Abbacino Galleria in Venice & Liberal Atrz Gallery in Bradenton Florida. I have exhibited my work for the Tarpon Springs Art Association, Pasco County Counsel for the Arts, City Hall in Oldsmar, Picasso’s Palette in Palm Harbor, The Beach Art Center in Indian Rocks Beach and others. I currently participate in many Fine Art Shows in cities such as Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Old Hyde Park Village, Sarasota, Naples, Venice, Boca Raton, Ft Lauderdale, Juno Beach, Mt Dora, Apollo Beach, Dade City, and Miami Beach & Hobe Sound in Florida, Ocean City, MD and Manayunk, PA. My work is well received at these events. I was the recipient of a judge’s choice award in June 2006 at the Art’s Alive show in Ocean City, MD. My work has been purchased and displayed in Switzerland, Ireland and throughout the US.
